I love this! Absolutely adore - at the moment I am only watching the anime, however I know that there are several volumes of the manga and I am desperate to read them!!!
The Anime is only available in fansubs (thankyou hardworking linguistic/computer geniuses everywhere!) which are fantastic but as of yet there is no sign of an english-subbed release.
The Anime: It's funny, quirky and refreshingly different from all the other animations out there. I found the drawings disconcerting at first - I was worried that they were going to be too simplistic and not aesthetically pleasing - I was soooooo wrong!
Now for the story: It is a pretty conventional plotline I suppose but it's fun and makes me laugh. Basically a tatty girl has got into a prestigeous, rich high school and is mistaken for a boy....continually. She stumbles across the host-club's HQ and breaks a very expensive vase - she is poor and so has to work the debt off. One by one the members catch on that this boy is more feminine than his appearance suggests - and that's just the beginning. Look out for crazy physical inspections, teacups, exotic costumes, vindictive princess and cute little pink bunnies - what are you waiting for - go get it!
